PE and Sport Premium for Primary Schools
The DfE allocate a PE and Sport Premium to Primary schools in order to improve the health of our young people. The additional funding is to encourage an increase in daily physical activity and therefore see an increase in mental wellbeing. At Portland we have used this funding to broaden the range of physical activities our pupils have access to, developing skills that many do not get the opportunity to do outside of school.
